Dear Alex's Conscience,
I hate to put it like this, but I think you are in error. Alex is an intelligent girl who understood that she needed to get her paper done. And what better way than to do it overnight at the library with two of her very close frined's who not only enjoyed every moment of her company, but needed her moral support to finish thier tasks. Grant it, one of her friends failed at their mission despite the support and maybe because of the ill-advised support which perhaps should have recommended he study for another exam seeing as the paper was futile... but alas Conscience, Alex was being a good friend. And you know what? She got her papers done. Maybe not all that night, but they were completed none other (perhaps because that is the wya things went there is no viable alternative) than because of her late night efforts at the library. I am glad Alex didn't listen to you Conscience. You were wrong. Sure you have hindsight... but you are too sensitive to the weakness which is pain of the here and now. That night will last forever Conscience... the body will get rest and will recover. So when you are making reflective judgements, be aware of your peculiarly knowledgable position which disregards the unknowns of the time.
