Hey, haven't updated in ages, though that really doesn't matter cause the only person who reads this, already knows most of this stuff anyways, but what the hay :) - hi Sophie ;) (never know if i should refer to u as Sophie or u in this, cause as your the only one that reads it, u would make more sense i guess.... humm, i'll alternate just to add to the confusion... heh)
Well, sat was cool, woke up nice and early - got dressed and got on the tube, about 2hours later i was in Victoria, met Sophie at 10 ish, then we headed off to Islington, to go and see the Kaiser Chiefs, 10,000 things and the Rakes :) -> although the gig was at a really weird time of the day, it still rocked, the Kaiser Chiefs were awesome live, the Rakes and 10,000 things rocked too, shame the only beer u could get was carling... humm oh well.
then we went to wagamamas and had yummy food, and it was really conveniently located just a short walk from the gig - always handy :) - then we headed back to Victoria and Sophie went back to sunny Brighton and i came back here to fuckbridge....
So that was a really cool day, gd food, gd music and great company :) - and i get to pester u for a whole 3 days next weekend - woo :) heh ;)
Then to sunday.
Woke up, chatted to peeps on msn, then got a phone call which i was expecting but had forgotten about from my mate Doug, cause he was in London for the weekend cause he went to go and see faithless on sat. So i trek off to go and meet him and about 6 other peeps who i know from chelt, i met them in Camden cause that’s where they were staying, and i kind of know Camden after wondering around for a bit looking for a sabre one cold February afternoon, so finding them was easy. We had a few drinks in Camden then we headed to Notting hill, and mainly Portobello road, walked around the market for a bit and went to another few pubs.
Then back on the tube again and to lec sq. - we then walked to china town to get some food, ended up in this all u can eat Chinese place that only cost us 10 quid each with a drink, so that’s not too bad, most of the food was mainly onions and other strange things that kinda looked like meat, but hey it was cheap and suited the mood. From there we went to brb, is that right, yah looks right... and had a few drinks, they had a few live bands playing so that was pretty cool.
After that we headed into Soho, but the got fairly dull quite quickly, so we decided to go to the south bank, me being official tour guide as no one else knew where the hell they were. Though i don't think they quite expected it to be such a long way, well by their standards anyways, not too bothered by walking in general, as its quick and easy. (Though i did start to get bored at that point)-> anyways got to the south bank, found a bar down there and had another few drinks out side by the river watching some guys doing frickin sweet things on bmx's, which was entertaining.
twas about 10.30 now and we decided prob best to start heading back as the tubes are lame and stop running at like 11.30 ish - well about 10.45 is for me - but luckily i managed to catch the last uxbridge train, which didn't seem to take anywhere as long as normal so that was gd - got back here at about 12ish i think
so that was another cool day, nice to see some peeps that i haven't seen for a while, and kept me amused for a few hours. so all gd - and the weathers been so nice this weekend 2
Today though, sadly i have work to do, bah.... which does suck as its like the nicest day today, blue skys and sooo sunny and not humid like its been for the other few days - i wanna be out side :( arse....
anyways thats enough jabbering from me, i'm off to get this junk done.
