In these tough economic times of woe and uncertainty I've come up with an idea. What do people in the Middle East like to do more than anything else- burn flags. That's why I'm moving to Egypt to start my new Foreign Flag Store, and we'll also sell matches. I'll be an overnight millionaire, just you wait. Anyone interested in a franchise

did you really come up with this? cause its genius. i am so in. but since we're going to be in egypt (yes, we're, i'm not letting you steal this genius idea just for yourself) can we have a side business in "antiquities?" Get the locals AND the tourists. C'mon, is there another market?

Also, the English sign can read: "Missing Home? Buy a Good Ol' American Flag/Union Jack!"

While the Arabic sign can read: "Come try our NEW 'Fireworks Flag,' with real exploding stars!"

Yes I really did come up with this. The idea occurred to me after watching people all over the world burn Israeli flags and thought, 'where do all these Arabs get their foreign burning flags?' And then it hit me like a slippery fish, there must be a flag store somewhere selling variety packs and discount flags. Because for whatever reason Muslims never have a flag shortage. So if we go in there and undercut the competition with better prices and more flammable flags we'd be rich. Obviously we'll need more U.S./Israeli flags than say Latvian. We may also want to get a foothold in Tibet with Chinese flags, because I'm sure the Dali Lama will be interested in non-violent flag burning.

And that's a great idea. We should get a business loan immediately.
