(no subject)
So I'm annoyed by how LJ defaults to rich text mode now. I don't like it. I am irked that I have to switch back to plain text mode. Call me old-fashioned, but if I'm going to bold something, or do some other silly and unnecessary thing to my text, I'm going to do it myself. Damn you, lj, for being user-friendly.
I sold out the other day and got a sponsored lj account so I could get more user-pics, but got so annoyed by the ads I canceled 5 minutes later.
I forgot what I was going to rant about.

Oh yeah. So I went to this review session for the PTCB exam (pharmacy tech certification board). This review was supposed to be SIX HOURS long. Previously not worried about this exam, I got a little scared, wondering just how much stuff I didn't know yet, that they thought I needed 6 hours with an instructor. Three hours into the review, I finally cannot take it anymore, and I leave. Because over the course of three hours, we were still going over how to cross-multiply. And people still had not caught on to how many grams are in a kilogram... EVEN WITH A CONVERSION SHEET RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. And no one could catch on to even basic drug interactions, like how antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of birth control.
Instructor: Can anyone remember from earlier what class of drugs generally interacts with oral contraceptives? ...anyone besides Stacy? ...ok, Stacy?
Me: antibiotics...
Girl next to me: What? Dey's do?! What page did ya'll see dis on?
On a better note, today I went to Kroger's and was too poor to afford the actual Cheetos. So I bought Kroger brand Baked Cheese Curls instead, and I am currently obsessed. They are amazing, and cheap.
