(no subject)
Two mid terms this week, a very hopeful thing because it means, "Hey! I'm halfway done!" Although this also means that I must find my history book, which I haven't looked at since I bought it.
I guess I was pretty spoiled my first two semester of college. Between all those delightful individuals in Chem 1410/1420, between the fencing team, and the Underground, I was with people all the time, I was always doing something. This semester, I'm lucky to find anyone I know, except on days I have enough money for coffee, and then Jack makes me coffee at Starbucks. School is lonely, I have no friends. :( I saw Mike Carpenter, the most amazing organic chemistry TA ever, this morning, however.
Apparently I have no acceptable clothes and I must buy something to wear to my brother's party this weekend. I don't know what I'm expected to wear. My mom gave me money today but I used it to buy an amazing pair of "herb green" pants instead, and apparently those are not acceptable, although I didn't think they would be. She was kinda pissed, but they were 50% off.
Tonight Joe and I have plans to fight with our latex swords. It's so awesome now that he has one, too. They're pretty cool because we can hit each other a lot harder with them than with a shinai or bokken. I hope it doesn't rain.
I would really like to work on my chainmaille hauberk right now, but if I get my pliers and rings out, that will ruin my facade of doing homework, which is reprieving me from having to do things around the house right now. Next fall, however, when I have my Jewelry & Metalsmithing course, however, I can say this is my homework.
::sigh:: Sometimes I just wanna say "screw pre-med!" and just take every single jewely and metalsmithing course available, instead. :(
