So, I have started on my 3rd week of work. It is currently 4:22pm. Do you know where your life is going?
I barely do sometimes, but let me tell you that MY F'N TEMP AGENCY SUCKS MAJOR ASS!!!
So we're supposed to get paid weekly. Ya know, fill out your 3 part timecard, have a supervisor sign it, give one to the place you're temping at, keep one for yourself, and send one off to the agency.
So I turned in my timecard on Tuesday. They mail out my check on Thursday. I can the guys and ask them when I could expect my check to be in my hands. "Saturday at the latest", says Gary.
So you can imagine the fury I had when I opened the mailbox today around 3:30 (and today being monday) to find NO FUCKING PAYCHECK. So I call the guys back and they're all like "well 99% of the people get their checks on friday, sometimes saturday, and sometimes monday."
"Yeah, well it's MONDAY and I don't have my check!"
I have bills, bitches! where's my fucking check?! tmobile wants to shut off my fucking phone! I've yet to receive my deposit from my last apartment, so I've been FLAT broke for the last week and a half. And here's Tim asking me if I want to borrow money, although he never comes short of reminding me that I owe him deposit on the house. Then there's Larry who made some really dope homebrewed mead, whom I also owe money to (and promised him the money by saturday/sunday, and here it ISN'T!).
may I also mention that while I made a pretty tasty breakfast consisting of red onion, potatoes, mushrooms, and soyrizo, I cut my fucking thumb. I'm sure some of my blood got into the food, which is fine because I was the lone consumer of it... but does that negate my vegetarianism? wtf. So I broke out the liquid skin, and at this rate, it's just gonna open up again. My thumb f'n hurts.
Oh yeah... I'm totally getting my rags :\
But other than that... this weekend was pretty rad. Hollie came back into town, I rode a tallbike for the first time (and dismounted myself!), had dinner with Dave and Josh last night (and Amanda stopped by), and had a good time, despite being broke :) eh.
