OMG NEW YEARS EVE....
So last night was the offical last night of 2004 and as the ball dropped we entered the new year of 2005. However, racing the time to get done with work by the time the ball dropped was half the fun on new years eve.
So i had to work on new years eve, not only work but a double that HAD to close. So we got out of work at like 11:20 and had no time to spare to get out to brighton. So we raced there and by we i mean my friend Shelby and I. We got out to the party at like 11:45, and i need to bring in the new year with a bang, so i started drinking, my miller lites. However those allthesudden turned into like 2 shots and the jager bombs. At this time it was only like 12:30 and i was not at all fucked up yet but pretty tipsy, so we decided we were going to say hi to one of our work friends, and headed over to her house.
We chill at her house for like 45 mins and i drink another miller, and danced some what. Then it was time to get back to Jamies. This was easier said then done, on the way from her house, Shelby (the only sober one) hits a car pretty bad, and the air bags shoot out, and the windshield broke. To top it off the girl was already on the phone with the police, so Ashley, sarah and I decide that we need to get the fuck out of there because we are underage (expect sarah) and we cannot afford MIP'S. So we fucking book it out of there, and tried to call Jamie for help, but everyone was fucked up and could not drive. So we started walking down grand river at like 2:00. We kept seeing cars and getting paranoid that they were cops, then we actually saw a cop and almost shit ourselves. By now the cops have already taken care of Shelby, but the bitch who she hit rat the fact that three of us left the sence. The cop wanted to know our names, thankfully Steve was smart and gave out only our first names, so we were safe. But the cop however offered Shelby a deal that if she turned us in, that he would void out the ticket and she would not get the three points on her license. Thank god she didn't listen. So when she was done with the cops she called us to tell us that they were looking for us. By now we had already hide behind buildings, and at this point of the call, we were sitting in the wooded area by Old US 23. Shelby and Steve had to go get another car from Jamie party and lose the cops to come pick us up. They finally got us at like 2:45-3.
So after that long ordeal, we were finally back at the party and HAD to make up for lost time, which means drink more, and drink faster. I started doing jager bombs again with friends from work, and chasing it with beer. Then starting shots of whatever, and drinking beer, i was shitfaced, and had to be up to go to work at like 9. So i stopped the drinking after i lost my keys and thought that for sure my car was stolen or even worse they were in the woods we were just in. So ashley and i went outside for a fabulous cigarette and started our cheers game again. By now i was fucked up and decided i need to get sober so i could drive home at 7:30 am. But this didn't happen because as soon as i threw out the beer, there goes Jamie opening Champagne, and we shared the bottle. Now nick is fucked up.
Finally at like 5 in the morning we go downstairs to maybe get in a little nap but this doesn't happen because of the Air hockey table we found, and the punching bag that was also down there. We played for like 5 mins and shelby needed to pee. So we went upstairs only she decided to fall back, and fell backwards into the wall. This is the best sight i have ever seen in my life i wish i had a tape recorder for this shit. So we stay up chillin until i have to leave to go to work.
Finally i get home after this long night and get in the shower and get all done for work, i even leave early and get there at 8:40 and decide to take a little nap, that turned into me falling asleep until 9:40 opps, but i didn't get in any trouble my manager thought it was kinda funny and let me off the hook, quess it's cause he was just as tired as me. Today was a long and slow day nothing exciting happened at all i was done on a saturday at 8:30 this never happens!!!! Then ashley came up there and we all talked it was fun.
I have realized something in this past few months, i have actually started to get the comfort i need from somebody among this group of friends from mongo. We all have bonded together in such a short time really, and it just feels great especially to me because i am the gay one, but it's honestly like it's a joke between all of us and is not taken to seriously by any of us. I just feel like i finally have people there for me. This is the reason why i stay at mongo lol. I can't wait for this summer it is going to be the fucking shit!!!!
Well i need sleep bad, i need to work tomorrow at 12 (and gotta show this time)...
