Merry Christmas Eve!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I can't believe Santa is coming tonight! It all came so fast! I can't believe it's here already and before we know it it'll be big 2006! I'm half way through my junior year...WOW!!
I just want to thank God for EVERYTHING He has blessed me with! He has given me the BEST friends I could ever ask for, a great family who loves me, a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, EVERYTHING. Without Him I couldn't have woke up this morning! God is SO good and so many times I forget to thank Him for the little things in life. I don't know what I'd do without Him! He has brought me through so much! Ya know...I used to think I wasn't good enough for people because I wasn't bad enough...if that makes since. What I mean by that is...I'm a pretty good kid...most people would call me a goody-2-shoes. I'm not perfect and I know that... I've never done drugs, never drank, never had sex...I've never done anything. You can say I don't have a life if you want to, but indeed I do. I realized that I should be thankful because I've never done any of those things and have never wanted to! Those things bring most people nothing but trouble and God has saved me from that and I am very thankful for that. God is such a big part of my life! I wouldn't be the same person without Him! He is my revuge and my strength!
Psalm 23
1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Isaiah 40:28-31
28Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding.
29He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.
30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall;
31but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.
Those are a couple of my favorite Bible passages! They help me when I'm down so I tought I'd share them so maybe you guys can use them if you get down! I love you guys VERY much and I hope you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!! >:D< <3
