And what the hell is this supposed to prove??
It shows that there are differences, but to what end? As far as I can see, this technology can only be used for spying on people's thoughts... like the thought police... it's not interesting, it's not entertaining, it's downright perverse. What can they do with this technology as a foundation for growth? they can't really use it to influence opinions... even if they could, that would violate every ehtical notion ever conceived. the best they could do is determine who is a "threat" and who is on the "winning team"... scary shit. let's not go down that path...
