might as well update...
Since I havent updated in some time, I thought it might be the time to let everyone know what has been going on in my world. My life as a nurse is getting better all of the time. I really seem to be catching on to this whole taking care of the sick thing and am having a blast getting to know my patients. I took care of a guy the other the day that fought in the pacific during WWII and wound up swimming in the ocean and fighting off sharks after his ship was hit and sunk. Pretty damn amazing. This guy fought off sharks for 24 hrs straight. Really puts things in perspective when you think you are having a bad day.
Had my baby shower/man shower last weekend and it was a great success. Many good friends showed up and ate my bbq and drank my alcohol so as you must see...everyone had a blast. The actual true baby shower is today with all of the family and friends from Leslie's side will be at. Something tells me that this is going to be stressful. I dont know why but it just seems as such. It will probably be about 2-3 weeks before my son is born. And we still havent settled on a name. I am sure that when this child is born, we will have a name picked out and everything will work itself out so that my boy will have an identity...hehehe. I sure am nervous and very excited to say the least.
For those of you who dont already know, my band Releasing Bella, will be playing at City Blues once again and opening for the Dimmed cd release show on April 29th. I would love to see all of the people I havent seen in a while at the show as it has been some time since I got to mingle with everyone. Cover is $10.00 at the door and you will get a free Dimmed cd at the door as well. So save your money now and come see me! I sure do miss everyone.
