(no subject)
Well, I have a crapton of work to do this week. I have two short papers to write and one take home exam due on Friday. I guess I'm not that worried, really. The two short essays are reactionary... I could probably write one of them today after class. It will be a reaction to whatever it is we're reading and discussing this week on Northeastern Plains Indians. The other paper is a reaction to the discussions we had last week in Women Sexuality on Augustine (BLAAAAAAAAAH). They're only a couple pages each. The Indian one will be pretty easy, and the Augustine one WOULD be easy if AUGUSTINE WASN'T BORING AS SHIT. Oh well. Also, it was good news for me the Women Sexuality exam turned out to be take home. WOO HOO! That means I have until Friday at 5 to do it. That's pretty sweet. So I guess it's not that much work. That class isn't too bad. It will just be a matter of sitting down and figuring out what Professor Goehring wants to hear, and writing it the way he wants me to write it. He's pretty particular. he's really nice, though, and pretty lenient about home situations and ESPECIALLY ABOUT MY DAMN COMPUTER BEING REFORMATTED.
In other news, I'm 21. The family minus Rachel and I went to Uncle Julio's yesterday and I ordered a Margarita and a Corona. The waiter ID'd me, but it was a little superfluous seeing as my parents were there telling him it was my birthday and my mom ordered a drink as well, and he ID'd her, too. Oh well. I can't wait to go to a bar with Alyssa! AND ANYONE ELSE WHO IS OF AGE WHO MAY WANT TO ATTEND. I can't wait till we're all legal and can go be legal together. It's pretty exciting.
My mom gave me this pretty sweet coat. Molly gave me this adorable owl hanging candle holder thing... It's really cute. She also gave me a book called What Shat That?, haha. It shows you pictures of poop and tells you what animals pooped it out.
So, I'm pretty excited for my party this weekend. It'll be a good end to the week.
