Friday Five: The Random
1) This is what my calendar looked like last night. This morning there have been about 15 new things added. No joke.
2) Kellan got this stuff for his birthday. It is mesmerizing...and strangely relaxing to play with.
3) One of my friends is pregnant with her first baby!! It's a secret to everyone but her immediate family. She surprised them all with personalized mugs that spilled the beans. I made them for her. The baby's due date was on one side and a big, red heart was on the other.
4) It was SOO hot the evening of Kellan's elementary school open house that we drove directly to 7-11 afterwards and got Slurpees. How awesome are these mustache straws??
5) This is pretty much what I say every afternoon when I'm running kids around to their various activities and I realize that we are never going to have time to sit down for a "real" dinner. The local soft-serve joint in town makes the BEST ones. One-piece, skirted, long-sleeved bathing suit here I come!!!!
