Saturdays Sometimes Suck
Person from Ohio...I am stealing your license plate.
This was today:
7:45 a.m. - Drop Hayden at high school to catch a bus to an out of town tennis tournament.
9:30 a.m. - Drop Weston off at the soccer field across town for his first soccer game of the season.
10:00 a.m. - Drop Larissa off two towns over for a birthday party.
10:15 - receive call from Weston that game has been temporarily suspended thanks to lightning. Please stand by.
**Oh - did I mention that there are still 10 girls in my house who aren't scheduled for sleep-over pickup until 10:30?**
10:45 - Official word from Weston that game has been called (thanks to Jarrett's mom for the save)
11:30 - Massive hail storm hits.
12:00 - Larissa needs to be picked up from her party.
A HUGE shout-out goes to my friend Michele who was willing to come over early on a Saturday morning with her kids to be my stand-in. The fact that she cleaned my kitchen and loaded my dishwasher was a total bonus.
I'm lucky to have wonderful friends, a reliable car, and a pantry full of K-cups.
