1. because they serve different purposes. different identity of sorts, if the summation of the entries summarizes the account, i want different summaries. and im too lazy to create and monitor custom groups.

2. i dont think mine is secret, its just friends only mostly. if thats what you mean by secret though, then i do it because i dont want just anyone stumbling through the links of friends to read me. and i keep it private beyond that reason because i dont think certain people would take it seriously (based on reactions to similar material that has been publicly posted) and most people dont friend me in the first place, which was a prereq.

3. because i dont think entries are enough to understand someone. if they were, i would write my life as i see it and if someone didnt agree, whine about being misunderstood. but it wouldnt matter anyway.
