Herbalbrew.co.uk Update

I received half my order today, and have been very impressed. The loose incense will arrive separately through another vendor but seeing as I only paid £2.00 for postage, this seems to be a pretty good deal.

10ml Black Magic Oil £1.00
A truly divine fragrance with an enchanted forest feel - a blend of fresh Siberian fir, sweet spices and vanilla.

Wow, I love the smell of this in the bottle. It really reminds me of BPAL's Golden Priapus, which is one of my favourite scents. Initially on my skin it is very similar, but the vanilla note goes a little wonky on the dry down (which happens with all vanilla notes that aren't BPAL, unfortunately!) but it is gorgeous nonetheless! I can see myself burning this all the time so will consider a bigger bottle in the future. A definite hit!

10ml Red Egyptian Musk soap oil £1.00
A subtle seductive classic red musk fragrance. This reminds me of A&T's version. It isn't quite as rich as I would like, but is nice for the money and will be great in my burner.

4.Decorative Bath Bombs---Baked Spices (x1) £1.25
Our bath bombs are handmade in spherical moulds. Made with fine quality fragrances and the very best ingredients, we don't use animal ingredients in our products so they are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. Contain no preservatives.
Simply packed with the ingredients list included on the label they differ in colour from red, green, gold and snowflake white.

This is a very true spice scent- not particuarly sweet and fairly heavy on the cinnamon. It is the size of a Lush Twinkle, but feels much heavier. I'm looking forward to see how this fares in the bath. I think it is quite a heavy, therapeutic scent- which is just the ticket at the moment. I much prefer the scent to Lush's Hot Toddy which I found to be a little dank.

5.Chocolate Mint Lip Balm £0.50
Our luscious lip balms come in 10ml plastic pots with screw tops.
Ingredients: Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil & Flavour Oil

Now this is very nice, and a completely different texture to any lip balm I have found in the past. It feels very silky and slippery and could be worn as a tasty gloss. I imagine that I'll have to use a thicker balm during the winter, but I'd happily wear this over my lipstick for extra moisture and a lick of shine. I can't smell any mint though.

ETA: Oh! They've sent me the wrong one. This is choc fudge with beeswax in! Oops! Maybe I'll drop them an email to let them know.

Overall, I am impressed at the efficiency and the products for the price. I'd definitely order again- particualarly more fragrance oils for my burner. Looking forward to the arrival of the loose incense.
