me while watching the last 2 performances yesterday

Anyway, the 3 consecutive days of live performances by 3 pairs of actors and seiyuu for ラピラテ 企画『 城崎プレリュード』 ended yesterday. There's 2 performances a day so there's a total of 6 performances in all. The main story stays the same but there's little tweaks and differences in the characterizations and of course the performances were different from pair to pair and from performance to performance. The subtle differences makes for a really interesting experience while watching these live performances. Is that why people watch the same play or musical or standup comedy show multiple times (even if the story stays the same without those tweaks and minor differences like what happened in this live reading)? I'm usually too much of a cheapskate to do that but this time, I splurged to get tickets for all 6 performances coz Okiayu Ryuutarou is in the 2nd pair and Yoshino Hiroyuki is in the 3rd pair. The ones I wasn't familiar with was the 1st pair but even they are good during their performances.
So glad they have it up on the internets for global streaming! All 6 performances are archived for streaming playback until 11 Jan 2023 but it's in Japanese without subtitles.
I first knew of this live reading because of my new favorite guy being involved and how he will be playing both the role of Kinuya and Tamako. I'll never get over his cat girl Meow in Space Dandy so imagine my joy at getting to hear him use his girly voice again lol... He also had the producer for the live reading on his monthly chat and she showed off some of those promotional pictures that made me lose my goddamn mind from the previous post lmfao... The way she thought about how they should style his (very) long hair into a half bun and give all 3 performers playing the dual role of Kinuya/Tamako the very エロい eye shadow eye makeup... (￣^￣)ゞ Thanks for doing gods work, Shintani Mayumi-san.

Anyway, the point of this post was to blargh about my ADHD tendencies. Since there's 2 live stream performances each day for the past 3 days, asshole brain was like, you cannot do anything else other than to wait for the live stream to start.
Me: but there's time before the 1st performance! there's like 2 hours between performances even!!
Asshole brain: nope. you cannot do anything before the 1st performance and between performances every day. you must wait in silence for them to start.

Apparently it's an ADHD thing. We'll block the entire day if there's even just 1 task that needs to be done.
Also, of all the days I have nothing on, these past 3 days had been so eventful lmfao... For some reason, The Mother seems to always have something that needs my help or attention while I'm in the middle of watching it. Yesterday was worse. My uncle had me help him with some app thing but keeping it on the whole time the shows were on. Why of all days... I have nothing to do for pretty much the entire Dec except for these 3 days and everything happened on those 3 days! Sigh... My timing is legendary as always...

Edit (23 Jun 2023): He was on 声優と夜あそび ウォーカーズ Say You to Yo Asobi Walkers with Morikubo Showtarou (~07m07s) when he talked about how he didn't really understand why someone would watch the same play over and over again but recently he had the chance to do a show and he finally understood. It's like, you know what's coming but at the same time, it's always a little different each time.
Me: he's just like me for real...
He didn't refer to this live performance but I'm immediately jumping to conclusions lol

Edit (07 Jul 2023): They announced that they'll be reairing the performances from last year and they're gonna restage it this year with a slightly updated script and cast! Too bad Yocchin isn't in this year's performance... He's probably busy with his own live concert which is happening a day before the 1st performance.
