Was I talking trash about CLV a little bit ago? Because back then I was dumb and not 80-odd pages into the book.
My only regret is that Mr. Ellis has washed away any urge I ever had to write a PI story because he wrote what I wanted to say. This does not mean that the author has infringed on my future inspirations, but rather has tapped into the well-spring of filth and phrase-turning that I had been searching out for quite some time.
I guess I'll find some other genre to butcher.
