I just read an article/interview about All-Star Superman. Apparently the inspiration is a conventioneer/cosplayer's rendition of the confident super-human. So powerful as to appear vulnerable to normal worries because he is, and yet he has succeeded to a new level of concern. I haven't read this book. I will find the first trade. It takes a lot to make me interested in Superman. I loved Red Son. I liked the first few Superman/Batman trades, but my favorite bit has to be the YTMND of various superheroes offering their version of how hard they'd bang Supergirl. I dug A (Super?)Man for All Seasons (can't remember how the title goes) and Kingdom Come. I even kinda liked The Kingdom. I was young when they killed Superman and I was glad. I was completely unhurt and jaded when they brought him back. Meh. Give me Batman any day.. Hell, I like Bullseye better than Supes. Call me crazy. Still, this series sounds interesting.
