This is a television nerd post.
..I don't think I can deal with Castiel as the bad guy. I refuse to believe that he is, I don't think his God complex should automatically turn him into the Big Bad. I'm intrigued to see what they do with this, I've heard Misha isn't a regular next season which really doesn't mean that much. He didn't appear much as a regular so he may turn up just as much or maybe they will wrap the Angel arc up all together. I'm interested to see which way they take it.
It felt like they possibly tried for too much with this season, up until now they've had a theme throughout to tie it together but season six had soulless!Sam dealt with quickly, Eve was then taken out relatively easily and then came Castiel. I can't really say what season six was about. Whether they couldn't because of Misha's commitments and young family but it really would have been the season to delve into Castiel and the whole relationship. They could have possibly made more of a thing of showing Dean torn between Sam, Lisa and Castiel. We all know his world revolves around Sam so they really could have played with that. It would have made Castiel's betrayal pack more of a punch, as it was they had Dean be a dick until the plot needed him to show concern. It's not that I mind Dean being a dick, I just didn't quite buy the way they handled it. BUT! the end gave me hope, Dean seemed a little concerned about the whole God thing which is a good start.
It probably sounds like I didn't enjoy the season. I did, I enjoyed a lot of the episodes but I can also see why it's getting criticized. Hopefully in seven they'll stay true to Castiel and get the boys hunting again. They need to get the danger and cohesion back.
Last Sunday night I watched the Nerd HQ panel with Jared Padalecki. He's such a rambler, it was very enjoyable. So much better than the usual convention videos you get on youtube. Less screaming. Jared just seemed very happy to be doing it, especially as it was for charity.
What I found interesting was how he met Zachary Levi and how they solidified their friendship "trying to stay alive at a football game" (Zac gets points for calling it football), I can't believe the WB took them to a Tottenham v Arsenal semi-final at White Hart Lane and put them in the away end. I don't think even I have the guts to go to one of those games. The image of a row of Americans sat among the Arses not really knowing what is going on is quite funny to me, love how Zac joked about trying to blend in with the chanting

I went to bed with a smile on my face. This cast makes me laugh, it's the reason I enjoy Supernatural as much as I do and the reason I'm here until the end.
[Tried posting this for the past week, not sure it was really worth it in the end]
