Daniel came in this morning and said that he didn't do his homework because he was watching American Idol last night. I told him that homework needs to come before American Idol and I hope that this will be supported in the future. It is not really that

Seriously... If I read her missive aright, she hopes that you will support the idea that television shows can and should trump homework time. To what, then, are you objecting? :-> (Perhaps her role as your son's teacher?)

In my anger and haste, I missed that. Dang -- I could have snarked on it in my reply to her! Yes, I did just copy and paste, so that's definitely what she wrote.

Nope. I'm kind of surprised. I figured either the teacher or the principal would respond. But nothing. And then I had to email her today to request Daniel's work because he's sick, and she was all nice and acting like nothing happened.

Which I guess just means she knows I was 100% right.
