pray for a miracle, please

it's so hard not being able to fix everything around me. i wish that there was something i could do, but there really isn't. i guess this is good practice for social work, just being there for someone, but i wish i could DO something. it's difficult.

please pray for joe's uncle and the whole family. i wish this were a better birthday for joe - he deserves it.
