I thought it was well written, and I like it more because I have been curious to know Fran's past more than any other character.

How did you come with the idea for this? If I may ask?

and don't feel responsible to respond if it will spoil something on the story.

The idea mostly came from the joke idea of Fran being Balthier's mother and how that changed the interpretation of some of the in game dialogue and character stories. And then I realized it could really be told as a serious story. It ballooned out from there.
