To all those who don't want spoilers of the movie "hostel" please don't read this.
today I went to see this cute litle gore movie called hostel, part of the movies presented in the FICCO, (festival internacional de cine contemporaneo) in which I laughed once and again of the irony of the violence and the way we humans think that we can manipulate others life and dispose of them as mere objects, most likely we humans are the ones who will end uo ending with our own k kind considerinbg this kind of things...
the story of this journey begins with being my sister the one that was suposed to go to see the movie, but she CAN'T RESIST!!!! that kind of movies so she sent me in there to see it for her and to tell her how it was, I was suposed to buy another ticket to go with her but they were completely sold out so... I was the one chosen for this dangerous and exhilarating mission.
people drugged, ran over by cars, seduced by prostitutes, people shot, people cut in pieces, burnt, eyes popping out, japanese girls jumping to the the train rainways, people drowned in their own fluids and well.... quite an amount of fun things (please note the sarcasm and teh probability of me being kind of a sick and twisted person for being laughing at all this things during the movie)
the film was presented by it's director Mr. Eli Roth (yes, the guy was there and got both, like and dislike coments about his movie, even a guy began to yell at him and was about to jump from his seat and well... things wouldn't have showed up nicely there... mental note, violence generates more violence) who presented us a movie in which it is shown that once again it is proven that human stupidity and human tendecy for violence knows no limits. the hero saves his ass in the end of the film and gets his vengance or what has been done to him and for his murdered friends. I really wished that the evil guy on the film did wander arround with his 5 year old daughter being stalked by the vengative hero *pouts* (I'm sick, sick, sick) because YES!!!! even herops can be violent creatures and easily turn to the "dark side" seeking for vengance.
Lots of things reminding you to t other horror movies and the music is weird and awesome. (you won't see people whistling and people having the fantasy of being surgeons the same way once you see this movie)
Eli Roth (who shouldn't be very old) seems to be a person who knows how to deal happily with sarcasm and irony and also to be a complete and weird movie geek, (OMG!!! you should have seen his red t-shirt that had a skull and the word "death", that still makes me want to laugh, haha!! I want a shirt t like that for when i go to see gore movies)
aaaaanyways people, thanks for reading this brief note of my senceless life.
