(no subject)
It's been a while since I have posted. I have been very busy trying to close on a house. We finally did on Friday. It is an Alpine house on .48 acres. I am so happy & surprised that it only took three weeks to look at it and own it. We tried a couple of times the last couple of years to look and buy and had no luck. We are throwing a Halloween party at the new home. It will still be pretty bare since there will still be no furniture since we are still living in the rental. There is some painting to be done & it will be easier to do it without the zoo, so we will still rent through November. I went Halloween costume shopping yesterday & I am going to go as a porcelain doll. I got a dark blue velvet dress with lace & white pearl buttons with an empire waist from Goodwill & will have to adjust it to the right size & add a peticoat of a sort. I haven't dressed up in four years so it should be fun. I still want to post some pics and I think I will wait until I get some of the new house. It will be weird living close to things again (we are currently on the outskirts of town in the woods). I am looking forward to the final move and I will even have my own art room now. I look forward to gardening too & using my cousin's discount (she works at a beautiful plant nursery in town). Life is good.
