Hormone Pride
***** Second Hormone Anniversary! *****
Today is another milestone in my life, one that I am so proud of achieving. Even better that it falls inside the Trans riots at Stonewall and the Pride celebrations that they triggered some 31 years ago. This week has been one of both remembering my past, celebrating my present and focusing on my future.
Sunday saw Les-Vegas at the Rainbow Planet, great alternative to the Queen's Ball as they was no way I was going to wear Rio Carnival styled, brightly coloured clothes, period!. The night was great as it is such a recharge to be around and accepted as just 'one of the hot chicks' which is always good for the ego. Tuesday saw my night at bingo where the word of the night was "fabulous"...don't ask me why but it was the word I got stuck on. I did freak myself out by doing my opening track "Moonlight Shadow." in my lingerie whites, but finished off with "Bust-a-groove."
Wednesday night saw me back at the Beat supporting Simone and Starr doing their show. Starr I found is another queer BDSMer so gotta get in contact with him and chat as well as invite to play. The night was spoiled when invited to sit with some guys by their drunken girlfriend and my drink was spiked. Knew it as soon as the liquid hit my tummy that it was tainted and the primary reaction to purge the system kicked in. Left early to get home just in time to be quite out of it but safe at home.
Today saw me up for breakfast with panther-rose at Fat Boy's (yummy $4 breakfast.) Then trotted off for a sexual health test and took my little L along to get her first test done, but then foolishly slept the rest of the day away and spoiling my plans for a picnic at Pride Fair day. Will have to get up super early and do something or else simply eat what is available at the stalls.
Will be out tonight around familiar haunts saying hello to all that I see and if I don't catch you, then find me sitting near the pub at fair day!
