I don't think I've ever seen so many hipster beards in one place. It looks like an Amish convention up in here.

Beards without mustaches?

A friend of mine had one of those about 10 years ago, when I don't think it was hip--he just had no ability to grow a mustache, so he had a beard without one. People would come up to him on the street and say, "Are you Amish?" and "Abraham Lincoln."

My ex had that beard! It made him look like Shaggy.

They do all have mustaches. In fact, they've spent the last half hour congradulating each other on their excellent terrorist facial hair, so really it's not so much Amish as, you know, Al Qaeda.

Is it just me who finds it impossible to be attracted to a bearded man?

Nope. I have the same aversion. To me, at least, there's nothing at all about a beard that makes me think, "Ooh, hot."

Wait, is it hipster facial hair season? I seem to recall some former coworkers who always started their annual moustache competition at around this time of year.

Seriously! Those boys are everywhere.

(To explain: I'm co-habiting with a former winner. His mustache is awesome to behold. But I'm trying to convince him that a beard is a bad idea.)
