two free periods!!!!!
yesterday killed me...but it is okay because on thursday i will be going to a concert with alex levy and maytal while everyone else is at the mall or emek(which isn't bad...just not as sweet as what i will be doing!). Apparently the guy was on the israeli idol and got third place but is now the most famous...so it is like i am seeing clay aiken (i think...not that i would want to see him...ever). i had an amazing shabbat at the epstein's house, a family that i did not formerly know. not only did i get to sleep a reasonable amount, but i also got to eat tofu (yay for israeli vegetarians!), real vegetables, wonderful carrot/chocolate cake, and drink juice, soda, and clean water. no fee to me. except for taxi. anyvey, i got to see marla (a friend from crusy) on saturday night because she is on haichalutzim seminar, and we played drums together. i stole some tea from the building afterward, bc mango tea is a rare find, and i am not going to pay for tea. that is stupid. what else is there to say? oooo! carmiel (one of our madrichim=staff) has a 15 yr old brother who is going to the concert, and despite the age difference, this is a good situation. here is the deal: carmi is 23ish. if i may say so, he is adorable. thus, his brother is going to be adorable, and pf a more reasonable age. alex and i are quite content with this. i ramble. so if you are still reading this, bravo. i am going for the first time (on try) to the kotel tomorrow, and i am very excited. i have been anxious about getting to the old city, and we are finally going! in other news, the really good chocolate bars here are 3 for 11 shekels=about 2.50ish. this chocolate is not just chocolate. it is outstandingly good. so i keep eating it, and my roomate is encouraging this, bc she then gets to eat it, and the whole thing is a vicious cycle! all my love, and shalom ya'll! molly
