fa-la-la-la-AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

Today was turning into a pretty good Christmas Eve. Yes, I had a couple of work things I needed to get done, but I was able to do those from home, so that meant sleeping in (yay!) and working in PJs (yay yay!). Plus, it's not pouring rain out for the first time in ... god, it feels like weeks, so that meant I could go for a long run outside (yay yay yay!) So once the work stuff was about 90% taken care of, I put on my running clothes and iPod and god, it felt great to be outside. A little colder than I like, but still nice. So I'm running and grooving to my music and thinking about work and life and 3 miles in, I trip. Left knee down, right shoulder down (no I'm not quite sure how the opposite sides of the body thing happened, but I know I never fall gracefully), and -- worst of all -- chin down. OW. Mostly just scrapes, but man, the shower afterwards involved A LOT of swearing. And I suspect my shoulder is really going to hurt tomorrow. (Plus my chin is REALLY red now.) But hey, I guess there's no better time than now to have your injuries match all the store decorations. :P

So with that, MERRY CHRISTMAS to those who celebrate it. May your days by merry and bright (and 100% less injury-filled than mine). *SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCH*
