I'm so busy!!
Today's blog post has one of my favorite soup recipes: Sausage & Spring Greens Soup
The next 3 weeks are going to be the busiest three weeks that I can ever recall having. The wedding planning has, of course, turned into wedding PREPARATION and we are now approaching warp speed. So much that needs to be coordinated!
The garden is coming along, but getting out to it is pretty taxing and takes me about 2-3 hours if I go midweek (and I have to go at least ONCE mid-week).
To all of this coordinating, attending, and adjusting add the fact that my office is moving locations and you start to understand why I feel a little out-of-sorts. For the 1-2 weeks, I'll be working out of my boss' home while we wait for the new office to be finished (it literally doesn't have interior walls, right now). But, the good news is that my company owns the building, we won't have to pay rent, and my boss has excellent taste in interior decorating, so the office is going to be super swank. Did I mention that the new office will also be only THREE BLOCKS FROM MY APARTMENT? Ach! How could I leave that out?!
Anyway, we're off to the farmer's market, this morning, then to breakfast at our favorite little dive, and then we're going to make our way out to the garden where I hope to find no cucumber beetles or squash bugs (at least no LIVE ones).
Our Memorial Day weekend will be spent, primarily, pulling together some of the finishing touches for the wedding. How's your weekend shaping up?
