why people need to recover from graduate school
I had a new colleague tell me how she took a year off to "recover" from graduate school. I understand. It has to do with having to take seriously endeavors like this:
"This conference aims to expand the dialogue and explore the landscape and
intersections of literacy studies as a framework of critical
investigation. This approach is meant to do the double work of
expanding the field while critiquing the expansion."
Huh?
