wow i can't believe it
The school year is almsot over. My time as a first-year teacher is almost gone. I can’t believe it. I am definitely going to miss a lot of my students. I will definitely not forget them. I think I may even cry on the last day! Although they are 8th graders (my homeroom), they are still precious. I really hope they make it in the world. I would hate to see them give up.
Volleyball season is over. The kids tried their hardest considering we did not meet much. Softball starts next week. We are working with little kids mostly. None of the JA signed up. That’s okay though because that way we can keep it simple. That will go until May 15...(shelly’s’ b-day). Then once school is out June 10 (June 11 for me), I can start umpiring!
On another note it’s almost time to move!! So excited!! I think Jeremy and I are quite pumped and ready to start the process...I am ready to decorate the living room personally! haha I am quite ready to be allowed to be an adult again. Being told I am a child just doesn’t work for me...I can be an adult if I am allowed.
I am very lucky though to get to live with my best friend. I am lucky to have him as a best friend. When crap hits the fan...he is there for me to make it better. He could have had a nice quiet Sunday to himself but he came to my rescue to help cool things down. I know he will back me up when needed. I’m quite the lucky! How did I deserve this?
