Oh My God
Last Wednesday morning I posted a blog http://poodler.livejournal.com/360186.html#cutid1 about how Glen and I had spent the three days before, which included a photo of a wonderful Matisse at the Musee d'art Moderne. This evening I was reading an article about safety at American art museums http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/05/24/AR2010052403626.html?hpid=artslot which referenced an earlier article http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/05/20/AR2010052000880.html , and thus I just learned of the heist at that very same museum that very same day, which heist included that very same painting.
Surreal. Sad.
