there's a first for everything, i s'pose
well, so just so it's here for people to read so maybe i won't have to recount it a billion times, i got in a wreck today.
but it wasn't bad, nobody was hurt, and the police didn't even show up until after we all left.
it was the one day that i had a full car, trey, chris, and rachel.
he hit me on trey and chris' side, and the door hit trey's leg and it's a little sore, but chris was only scared, not injured.
mrs. evans came and stayed there until my mom got there, which was about an hour later. she was really really wonderful to do that.
i got all of the guy's information and everything, because it was his fault, not mine. thank goodness.
so here's what happened, more or less:
i was driving down mesa from school in the outer lane, and he was pulling out of the driveway by mesa ranch. there was a car in the right lane that was stopped for him to turn, so i couldn't see him until he inched out far enough. so he got out enough for me to see him so i stopped, and he stopped. so then i started to go past him, because i had the right of way, and he was stopped and all. so he was only barely in my lane, but i started to curve around him and all of a sudden he started going. bam! straight into my right side. so it kinda threw off my car and he got past me and i had to slam on my breaks, but i recovered in time to make it into the mesa ranch parking lot. he went and parked in the las colinas etc. parking lot and walked over. the front of his car was totally smashed, but the side of mine just has a big bumper-sized dent in the side. but it still works and everything, so we're all good.
anyways, i'm so so thankful that mrs. evans waited there and talked to him and everything, and i'm really sorry that chris, trey, and rachel had to deal with that. especially rachel since i don't know her as well as the other two.
so that's what happened. i doubt anybody reads this thing anymore, but i thought i'd put it here just in case.
