Last week was weirdly hectic. I found myself running around every evening and not quite being able to figure out how to slow down. Cake is so meta. I totally dig.

After spending a week in your town, I've got to say I have new respect for your budgets. They seemed pretty, well, different from mine when I was just reading about them online. But now they just make a lot more sense. I guess it's one thing to read about increased cost of living, and another to be actually living it for a while.

Anyway, not terribly helpful.

I do appreciate the comment. I feel sort of vindicated for the understanding, cause yeah, but most city standards I do have a lot of money to play with--if I could only be spending it in other cities.

Based on my experience, questioning what moods are "real" vs "chemical" never stops. Is the up or down because of events causing moods, chemistry causing moods, or both (with chemistry triggering you to think about certain things). Wait, I only slept 4 1/2 hours last night ... is something wrong ?

I'm living generally stuck with cognitive impairment. The claim is without drugs you will get worse, but with them (any of them, not just lithium, even the wonder drugs) your mind doesn't quite work anymore (although after the first 4 months on anything it gets better)

I have no answers outside of the fact that I'm personally hoping this is "normal" post-diagnosis behavior.
