Partial Update
Greetings to you all!!
Alright so many of you probably remember my lovely trip to the hospital in November (oh boy wasn't that fun!). So I went back to the GI specialist today for a follow-up and here is the verdict:
My CT scan came out completely clear, YAY!! That means the abscess that was there is gone and I don't have another one. The doctor was horribly freaked out that I was not taking an medication at this time (since I ran out) and that I was not sick again. He is still not sure if I have Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, so we are doing several things to find out. I have to have a blood test done to see if my white count is up (if it is, it's probably Crohn's). Next I have to have a horrible thing called a sigmoidoscopy. This (as he explained it) was where they put a camera somewhere I will not mention and look that the condition of things...well this would be all fine and dandy (I guess) except for the fact that they give you NOTHING for a sedative, I just might die. Last I get to become a human science project. I have to swallow a camera that will take pictures of the insides and it will be recorded on a belt around my stomach. It's really kind of interesting and really creepy all at the same time.
I feel fabulous!! So I hope all these things turn out and I will be okay from now on...maybe.
So now that you know more than you ever wanted to about my health..carry on knowing that I am okay ;)
The rest of my update on life will come at a later time, but I assure you it will be good.
