The Lure of Genji
Ok so after all my hopefulness regarding my own lack of resolve... I may have accidentally become engaged in a bidding war on Crescent Japan and brought a Genji....which I am happy about. I have been looking at his face and wondering whether he might make a good Isa? So at least I have that option. I think with my Amelia boy playing Sylvian maybe Isa would be better as a Volks doll too. And Kit can have the SD17 body for the moment, its supposed to poise really well so as long as the resin match is ok. Still nothing beats the SDelf match or the Model body either. But this boy is probably the most expensive Doll I have ever brought.....$1995...gah.....shocking. After I pay off Euclase and my Bernard I think that will have to be it..Akando will definitely also be going on the MP when he gets here as will Nuada...but not yet.....
I really really really can not buy anymore dolls next year until everyone's either finished or been evicted. But I can want and lust after them. I could easily buy about another 80...I really want 11 from Dollstown alone, 4 from Dollzone, Twigling's Yilsande, 4 from Limhwa, 2 from Bambicrony, 3 from Soom, 3 from Elfdoll, 6 from Fairyland, 4 from Leekeworld, 3 from Dollmore, 2 from Narin, 3 Volks Limiteds that are going to cost a bomb, 7 FCS Volks, 2 from Supia, Zaoll Luv, 4 from Souldoll, 5 from Luts, 3 from Pipos, 4 from Peakswoods, Batchix Machina and Gamma, A Ren Girl from Angel Region, anything Dollshe makes in future. So even if I only brought 3 dolls a year for the rest of my life, I'd still be buying dolls for the next 27 years, until I was 60....Why why why must this be so addictive......I'm actually mad, yes?
Anyway, very disappointed with DOD and Luts after they revealed their new dolls for xmas.
The new SSDelf look like kids. I was hoping for a much more mature pr of faces. More like Flood basically, who I lust after but probably can not buy for roughly a thousand years until I have finished Lily and this ruddy band. DOD were releasing another DOI but its turned out to be just a tanned Sha on a DOI body...lame....I have decided I do not like DOD faces at all which is good because I already want far too many dolls. Still have to sell MANO. He is on DOA but no one has bitten so far. I would imagine he will not go until after Christmas.
