Taming the Lions

Sunday morning, is it? I've lost the track of time - all I know is we are living in the Age of Rosally. The little beast continues to rule the household, though I am sure she does not even realize it. Dana, cats and I are on constant alert, I have not written a single page of the dictionary (which I planned to have finished on Tuesday) and my asthma has flared up. Plus, I had the most terrible dreams tonight, in which the real and fictional worlds blended together with nasty results.
As for Rosally herself - all in all, she's doing better. She explored the whole flat yesterday and doesn't hiss and growl at us as much as before. No new bloodshed so far, I remain to be the only household member wearing numerous scars and hopefully it stays this way. Of course, the cats are very distressed and growl and yowl and hiss at each all the time - Aya hisses at Gure and Rosally, Gure at Rosally and Aya and Rosally at Aya and Gure. Understandable, yet still a bit heartbreaking. I really hate to see my two kittens so scared and confused with each other. Rosally has turned the household upside down, but well - that was to be expected. She's scared and probably thinks herself abducted and expects to be eaten any minute. Poor child.
She showed us her funnier side too, though. Yesterday night, Dana and I went shopping and bought some cat treats. I brought one to Rosally, who was still hiding under the washbasin at that time, and gave it to her. She yowled and hissed and hid herself deeper in the shadows, so I retreated and only as I was about to leave, I saw a little paw darting out of the darkness and quickly pulling the treat towards her hideout. Later, she finally ventured out of the bathroom and started exploring the living room, especially the heating unit, on which she tried to climb, not knowing the only way was to jump. After some stubborn climbing, she fell down on her butt and looked downright embarrassed. I know cats hate it, but we still laughed terribly. Rosally gave us a grumpy look and a hiss and then went away to hide under our bed.
We are going to the cinema tonight, so I really hope the cats won't harm each other while we are away. I kind of hate to go, but we have bought the tickets already and they were so darn expensive.... Oh, well. We shall see.
