What I Have Learned From Watching Friday Night Telly

  • Derren Brown is actually evil.  I missed the beginning, but tying people up, putting them in sacks, and dropping them in a lake?  EEEEEEK.
  • Peep Show is capable of being funny this season after all.  About rapeyness.  I am disturbed by my own sense of humour.
  • Ray Winstone now looks like Willie Rushton.

This is why I should have a social life and not be ( Read more... )

Every day is Turlough Day. I make an effort to ineffectually hit someone with a rock at 9 on the dot each morning.

Wossy's show was very surreal, especially after one of the Osmonds mounted Ray Winstone.

I have no social life....

I'm now feeling quite relieved I didn't watch the whole thing...

It was probably the most disturbing wossy show in quite some time (i think him biting the bum of Helle Berry or however you spell her name was downright weird).
It's sitting on my SkyHD box, so i'll have to watch it all over again cos my mum loves the Osmonds, but can't work the sky+ stuff on the box.

*curses his sister for figuring out how to fill his precioussss SkyHD box with crap like the Bill*

Wooo Indy later!

Derren Brown is completely evil.

I like to think of him as only half-evil. He did do the very best sidelong coming-out moment in the first ep of the new series ('I'm just flicking a bean: don't do that very often': up there with the Time Crash beard line), which made me love him even more than usual. And the gratuitous Robbie Williams-spearing from a while back. Genius.

But then he did do that one where he convinced the guy he was inside the computer game, and made him go apeshit and try to shoot his mates, which was actually quite terrifying. Aaaaaaaaah, run away!

If I could hire Derren Brown to trick the other half - the zombie!game 'trick of the mind' is what I'd completely go for.

The man could take over the world so easily if he wanted to. The worrying thing is that he hasn't . . . yet.

Unless we only think he hasn't. *spooky music*

I'd want something like that girl who 'couldn't' play the piano. He could erase all my Who memories, and I could watch it all again as if for the very first time... I could pretend that I have loftier ambitions for my mindfuck, but DERREN WOULD KNOW.
