I do hope someone else writes an insightful post about Sherlock which details things like soundtracks and pretty staircase angles, so I can comment on it with 'THIS! exactly!', because right now all I have is *flailyhands* and a big incoherent grin.
Also: can Eleven and Pond and Rory go and solve exciting crime with them please? Or would Blinovitch result?
I watched The Deadly Assassin this week. Now, I've seen episodes 1 and 4 before (because apparently the guy who showed it to me was more keen on Gallifrey than on the mental bit in a quarry), and thus I sort of remembered it as being not that weird. OH MY GOD HOW WRONG I WAS. The bit with the horse? And the train? And the giant spider that doesn't do anything? Blimey. I confess I was a bit distracted by shouting 'Ooh, it's the headmaster from Brendon!' at Cardinal Borusa, but I'm not sure I am sold on companionless thriller conspiracy!Who, really. Not one woman in 4 episodes: does that ever happen again? Brrrr.
