Curiouser And Curiouser
Today marks the beginning of a new era. Actually, about a week ago was the origion of the current epoch, but only today have I procured internet access in my new stable. Texas actually isn't as bad as I thought. It is warmer than an outer circle of hell during the majority of the day, but the nights are crisp and clear. I will give my new home this one accolade: Staring heavenward is to gaze into a looking glass of the finest moorish optics. The sky is so pristine the stars dare not even twinkle lest they shatter the sublimity of perfect visual silence. I've spent most of this first week grazing pastures new and gazing past anew, and there seems to be a kindred spirit roaming the night as I do. This mystery companion is a horse as well, but I don't know his/her name and haven't yet dared to inquire. It would be nice to meet an equine personality with a soul as.... searching... as mine. I can only hope.
