Victoria Memorial notice - John Caspell

Well, after kicking around all the things that John would like -- (and noting that the "official" memorial is in Vancouver on the 30th weekend) we've decided to have a memorial/jam/song circle thingee on the Sunday afternoon of our traditional yearly music retreat "Pondfilk". So -- Sunday, June 28th - we'll be having a tasteful and tasty offering of that which John valued most, friends and music.
At Pondside, on the front lawn, greatroom and where-ever it spreads to next. Please come and share your stories, music and appreciation of our John with us.
It won't bring him back but it will make us feel better and... right now some of that would be a good thing.
When
Sunday - June 28th 2pm til whenever the voices stop, the food is consumed and people want to stop. We'll be at it all night - at the Folk or here.....

Why?
Because we love him and know that some of you have asked for a local venue to be able to share your memories, music, joy and sadness.
