So things are going amazingly well right now. On friday I got a senior project intership with the m'head reporter, went to the BC hockey game with Mike, and I learned that my self-portrait won the American Vision Award @ the Boston Scholastics!!! Tears of joy! I was so surprised, out of 5,000 drawings I got best of show! Things like this can get me into college. I'm noticing that as long as you do one thing really well in high school whether its sports, grades or art work, it can pay off and get you into a school. I think that one thing for me is my self-portrait. I just a postcard from one of the portfolio reviewers at Syracuse saying that she really liked my work-especially the self-portrait! And she didn't even know it won the award. Goodness, it's just too good to be true.
