Alternatives to del.icio.us
After the brouhaha about the launch of the new del.icio.us site, many of you are looking for an alternative. If you are, I recommend Pinboard.
I joined Pinboard last December when the first rumors about changes to del.icio.us started. I am VERY happy with Pinboard. The guy who runs it is terrific, he is actively courting fandom, and while it isn't free, the fee is a one-time payment (currently less than $10 American; here's the explanation for the fee) rather than a monthly or annual charge -- in my not-so-humble opinion, the one-time fee is worth every penny for such great service.
