PIMP: No Cold and Heat by danawoods
I'm frantically and fruitlessly (hey, alliteration! :) attempting to catch up after spending most of my free time in the last two weeks watching the Olympics and Highlander (Can I just say that Adrian Paul is one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen? He could be the love child of Sean Connery and Cary Grant. And why did it take me so long to find this show?).
I got woefully behind on my flist, and it wasn't until this morning that I found out that danawoods posted my Buffyverse charity (the_fund) story. No Cold and Heat is an Oz-centered, PG-rated fic set about twenty years post-series. Melancholy yet hopeful in tone, Dana has written a totally plausible older Oz using the kind of precise, no-word-wasted prose that knocks my socks off. Highly recommended.
