PIMP: Anything of Nothing by yin_again
I know, I'm probably preaching to the choir, since any Spanderphile on my flist already knows Yin's work. But, just on the off chance I can entice a potential new reader... go read her latest: Anything of Nothing. She modestly labels it as porn (and yes, it does contain graphic gay sex), but this is no mere PWP. Spike and Xander post-Chosen character study, disillusionment, sublimation, grit, myth (selkies), second chances, hot-sweet sex, and an exquisite emotional payoff at the end.
Between them they can maybe make one whole heart - each so damaged and broken and torn that alone they are hollow, yet together they build something that didn’t know it was halved until it was joined. And, once joined, is so right that tearing it back apart could destroy both halves.
