Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans!
Today's menu: Turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce, and stuffing , check. At least a dozen pies, check. Manicotti or lasagna, check. Kielbasa rolls, check. The multicultural extended family with whom I will spend a delightfully chaotic Thanksgiving today is, well, a bit non-conformist, shall we say? ::grin::
What non-traditional dish is part of your Thanksgiving feast?
I just love Thanksgiving! No gifts, just eating, drinking, and being merry. Yesterday H made cheddar-cheese rolls, black-pepper rolls (excellent for leftover turkey sandwiches!), and cinnamon-raisin bread. This morning he's making kielbasa rolls (like pigs-in-a-blanket, substituting kielbasa for mini hot dogs). Our kitchen smells fabulous!
