Noreascon, anyone?/Pimping ark_tagstory
I'll be at Noreascon (the World Science Fiction Convention, held in Boston this year for the first time since 1989) this weekend -- who else is going? What are you looking forward to most?
Speaking of science fiction, I'd like to take this opportunity to pimp a new tag-story community, ark_tagstory. secondverse and tabaqui have begun Ark, an intriguing futuristic Spander tale in which Xander is awakened on a spaceship by Spike, who's been awake for four years. They're the only two conscious beings on the ship, but there are more than 100,000 people in stasis... I have always enjoyed this premise in SF stories, it'll be fun to watch this play out with a Spander twist!
