Today was a fun day. It was supposed to be a totally unproductive day for me because i was supposed to be out of the house enjoying myself from mid-morning up to the evening. Thankfully i was able to study canons 1 to 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and also a few pages of Agpalos book on the CPR. In more important news... I was able to watch Sherlock Holmes. I liked it. I have never touched a Sherlock Holmes book but i feel as if the movie did not betray the original. I have a feeling that the movie kept the essence of Holmes. And yet at the same time they've made it a lot more interesting to suit modern movie-goer tastes. And the blend didn't feel artificial or forced. It was subtle and smooth. Perhaps i would have had a better appreciation of the movie had i read at least one novel but oh well. Thanks are in order here by the way... Thank you
neuroticsam for the free movie pass! My eyes have been opened to the appeal of Sherlocke Holmes. As to the deus ex machina, i've yet to verify it. hehe.
After watching Holmes in gb3 i went on the mrt and headed straight for trinoma. I arrived at a round 400pm for my 700pm dinner with undergrad blockmates. What did i do with my free time? Oh i memorized the first seven canons of the CPR and read Agpalo's book. I forgot to mention that i was already in makati by 1000am when my appointment with
neuroticsam was supposed to be at about 1200. SO yes i'm fond of being ridiculously early. But because of that i was able to write down on paper the 22 canons of the CPR.
I'm kind of tired now... Zzz...
