The first first first thing

Bored on the first day of the year so i pored through my entries para pa-emoemoshit na rin. More importantly, I pored through for the first entry of the month of each year thingy. And here it is (with some modifications).

January - The last three days of the holiday break is where all the magic happens, at least for students anyway.
(This is as true now as it was a year ago... T_T)

February - Lumaki ako sa UP for the most part, di ko aakalaing dito rin ako babalik.
(Woohoo passed LAE)

March - Katatapos lang ng Ateneo retreat a few days ago... not that sumali ako. But i did just arrive from my 1 week "retreat" sa bohol at cebu.
(Very very very memorable trip! Hahahaha, when will I see you guys again?)

April - It's been more than a year since i've been exercising on a regular basis but now i am back and better than evah!
(Huhu di na natuloy after more than half a year... x_x)

May - Antagal ko nang hindi naguupdate... five weeks, goodness. So i've been jogwalking in the academi oval on a regular basis for some time now.
(This is actually a june entry but hey walang May eh!)

June - Kapag naging sikat na ako at mayaman isa sa mga una kong pag-gagastusan ay ang paglagay ng pangalan ko sa isang kalye sa UP. Roces Sr. ung current name nung street but it is more popularly known as the Freshie Walk... AS OF NOW THAT IS.
('nuf said)

July - Few occupations allow one to appreciate the true weight of the word. From the top of my head there are four, namely: lawyers (syempre kasama toh at una pa!), those involved in literature, philosophers, and Paolo Coelho's magicians. Paraphrasing Coelho in Brida, becareful what things you say and how you say things for God is in the Word.
(Translation: I read Brida. Note: this is an Aug entry.)

August - I indirectly killed a bird today. But according to Art 4 Par 1 of the Revised Penal Code one is liable for any result of a criminal act, even if it was not the one that he intended, so I'm still liable for murder and not just injury (lawyer joke).

September - After a month of reading Atlas Shrugged (only two weeks of which are official and the rest i'll have to pay in overdue charges) I'VE FINALLY FINISHED THE DAMN BOOK!

October - puddles aren't oceans... and an ocean is just a puddle

November - I'm a very complacent and laid back person. My group mates and org mates can attest to that. At the same time though I've always set certain standards for my self. In Ateneo it was a B. But right now I'm just happy to get threes, the Ateneo equivalent of which is a D.
(This is so more than just a sentence.)

December - I am so glad that it was clearly and categorically stated that Agnes Devenadera graduated from a school beside the pasig river.
(An indirect reminder of the whole Ampatuan, Maguindanao mess and a testament to the current administration's choice of personnel.)
