caden slept 9 hours last night! i slept 6 because i was awake checking that he was still breathing. i guess that's normal for a mom, right?
holy tornado in nyc yesterday! the whole lot of us sat in the bathroom for ten minutes away from our 16 foot windows because there were lightening strikes twice a second and hail the size of golf balls. jack laughed at me but he was safely on the subway underground so he didn't understand what it was like.
i am interviewing two (maybe three) babysitters next wednesday. i have high hopes for a woman named kizzy who is from trinidad. she was so nice on the phone. the other woman, tshering from nepal is really looking for full time so im afraid she'll quit if she finds something. she had a baby a year ago and just sent him back to nepal for three years so she can make money here. i would die. i can't imagine.
we're driving up to troy on monday to do an overnight at jack's sister's. im nervous about the drive. caden doesn't like the car and the car has been acting up. i can't do anything about caden not liking the car (can i?) but im going to take the car today to get looked at. im praying it won't be expensive.
oh, i lowered the price of 10a by 20K. ugggg.
